Inferno Theme
Piece I composed as a theme song for local Columbia, SC Minor League Hockey team The Inferno. I sequenced this with the Yamaha Motif 7. The final recording was augmented by The Root Doctors performances on Bass, Keys, Guitars and Horns and a handful of vocalists.

I wanted to do an instrumental composition that was little funky with some guitar patches to get something that was realistic for guitar parts played on a keyboard.

Children's Song
A close friend of mine had a tragedy in her family. She had some lyrics written by her Father that she wanted set to music for a dedication. it took a lot for me to write this song and I had to imageine real personal tragedy in my life to get something that I felt was worthy.

The Game
A friend of mine has a local sorts show and I actually had a funk tune I had been working on called "The Game" so I think it was somehow destined to happen this way. It seemed like a good feel for a sports show since they wanted something funk-like and not techno dance like most sorts themes seem to be ( Like that drat Inferno theme).

When I got my keyboard i really wanted to get some realistic guitar licks happening so this was the result of some experimenting.

Wanted something sweet and atmospheric. I have always been a fan of keyboard soundscapes. I wanted to do something that transitioned and this also made me see and feel outerspace and planets colliding before a lyrical calm in the Heavens.

I was asked to write a piece for the new Digital ETV channel when it was initially launched. I wanted an old, old, old school feel with sort of Southern Regal strings...Did I just make that term up?

Wrote this piece for a extremely talented friend and female vocalist. I just really love this song. wish I had a recording with the words.
